Places in St. Petersburg where you can admire migratory birds
The largest bird migration route passes through St. Petersburg, which is why you can watch them in different parts of the city. Pavel Glazkov, Candidate of Biological Sciences, told about this, the TV channel “Saint Petersburg” reports.
According to him, you can see migratory birds on the shores of the Gulf of Finland, as well as in fifteen reserves that are in the city. This may require binoculars or a camera. Observation is especially convenient now, since these days there is a massive migration of birds.
Glazkov noted that the flow of migration of various species of birds, including waterfowl, land and near-water birds, passes just through the Northern capital. The north-western region of the country is either the end point of the bird route, where they continue their genus, or the birds fly further, to the northern regions of Russia.
Earlier it became known that the Red Book birds were found in the Moscow park “Tsaritsyno”.
