The submarine “Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky” from the Sea of Japan hit the coastal target with “Caliber”

The submarine “Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky” hit a target located on the coast from the Sea of Japan with a missile “Caliber” at a distance of a thousand kilometers, RIA Novosti reports, citing the press service of the Pacific Fleet (Pacific Fleet). The agency published the corresponding video on Telegram.

“The target was hit from a submerged position. At the estimated time, the missile hit the coastal target position at the tactical field Surkum [in the Khabarovsk Territory]. The firing range exceeded one thousand kilometers, ”the Pacific Fleet noted.

They also added that “immediately before the launch, the submariners made a tactical maneuver of a covert exit to the area of the mission.”

In December, the damaged US Navy Seawolf-class nuclear submarine was featured on video.
