The Perm Polytechnic has developed a computer program that can be used to calculate the sediment of the soil. This will allow you to correctly and, most importantly, in time to predict the subsidence of the foundation and the destruction of buildings.
According to the author of the program, the sediment of clay soils takes years. And, as a rule, this happens imperceptibly, but it has obvious and dire consequences. In addition, during the study, it was found that, depending on the consistency of the soil, deformations develop at different rates. So far, the development is intended for calculating the precipitation of clayey soils of the Perm Territory.
Also, the author of the program emphasized that with the help of her invention, it is possible to accurately calculate the long-term precipitation of clay soils of various consistencies without long-term tests. The program provides a small number of initial parameters to simplify work with it.
