ASUS showed improved versions of gaming smartphones ROG Phone 5 and ROG Phone 5s. These are ROG Phone 5s and ROG Phone 5s Pro respectively (there is no Ultimate version this time). Both devices are based on Qualcomm's flagship Snapdragon 888+ chipset.
The devices are equipped with 6.78-inch Super AMOLED displays with 1080p + resolution, support for HDR10 + high dynamic range, 24 ms latency (this is a world record among smartphones) and 144 Hz refresh rate (also works in 60, 90 and 120 Hz modes). The top-end ROG Phone 5s Pro also has a rear PAMOLED screen, which displays various additional information (time, battery charge, notifications).
ASUS ROG Phone 5s received 16 GB of RAM and a storage of 128 or 256 GB. The ROG Phone 5s Pro can have up to 24 GB of RAM (actually 18 GB, but another 6 GB can be obtained from flash memory) and storage capacity up to 512 GB.
Smartphones have 6000 mAh batteries inside with 65W high-speed charging function.
The package includes cases, chargers, and a separate cooler is also included in the box with the ROG Phone 5s Pro.
The cost of the gadgets, alas, was not named.
