Russian actress Yulia Peresild, who returned from the International Space Station (ISS) on October 17, spoke about the filming of the film “Challenge” in space. This was reported by RT.
As Peresild said in her interview, the words “difficult” or “hard” are not suitable to describe the filming of the film – everything was done at the limit of human capabilities. The actress noted that she was afraid to physically not cope with her task. The crew members did not prepare for the flight in ten years like professional astronauts. Their preparation lasted only four months. The actress emphasized that there were times when the forces were already running out, but everything turned out to be removed the way it should be.
Peresild added that the team managed to do more than originally planned for the expedition.
Earlier, cosmonaut Anton Shkaplerov said that after the filming of the film “Challenge”, the Russian segment of the ISS needs to be cleaned up. According to Shkaplerov, disorder reigns there now, so he and his colleagues “have enough work”. The cosmonaut also added that after the crew left for the ISS, “it became freer.”
The film crew of the film “Challenge” arrived on the ISS for filming on October 5. On the morning of October 17, the film crew landed in Kazakhstan.
