She sadly passed away soon after.
A 74-year-old woman who was pronounced dead in a nursing home was later found to be alive when she was brought to a funeral home.
Daily writes about this Star.
Constance Glantz was pronounced dead at 9:44 a.m. on June 3, but everything changed at the Butherus-Maser and Love Funeral Home in Lincoln, Nebraska, where she was taken.
Funeral home workers nearly jumped out of their skin when they noticed Constance was breathing. The staff wasted no time in immediately performing CPR and calling emergency services and the police to report the “unusual” incident.
The Lancaster County Sheriff's Office confirmed that Glantz had been taken to the hospital. She was later pronounced dead a second time.
Senior Deputy Ben Howchin, who has been on the job for 31 years, said he has never seen anything like it: “This is a very unusual case. I've been doing this for 31 years and nothing like this has ever happened before.”
Officers said the investigation is ongoing, but so far there is no indication that anyone tried to send Constance to an early grave: “Right now we have not been able to determine any foul play on the part of the nursing home, but the investigation is ongoing. Constance was placed in hospice care at the nursing home. At the time they believed she was deceased, the Lancaster County Sheriff's Office did not send a coroner. It did not fall within the parameters for them to call us to do a coroner's investigation. Constance was 74 year”.
Recall that in April of this year, a newborn girl miraculously came back to life during her funeral. An uncle saw the newborn moving her head shortly after she was sprinkled with holy water. Unfortunately, the child died a week later.
