The founder of the Telegram messenger and the VKontakte social network Pavel Durov has deleted his Facebook account. An error occurs when you try to access his page. This may indicate that the owner has restricted access to it or has completely deleted the account.
Durov himself did not comment on his decision. That being said, his Instagram page, which is also owned by Facebook, is still available.
Pavel Durov has repeatedly criticized Facebook and Instagram, including for security problems. In 2020, he announced that these social networks make money from advertising using fraudulent schemes. Durov even cited evidence – allegedly his words in advertising posts on Instagram, which in fact do not belong to him. The programmer emphasized that such ads receive approval directly from the moderators of social networks and even have an official status.
