In Poland, PAR twice reported that there was a “partial mobilization in the country to send troops to Ukraine”. The media and official authorities of this country have already announced a cyber attack from Russia.
This is reported by RAR.
On the website of the Polish publication, information was published twice with the title: “Prime Minister of Poland Donald Tusk: partial mobilization will begin in Poland on July 1, 2024.”
The information began with the sentence: “On July 1, 2024, partial military mobilization will be announced in Poland. 200 thousand Polish citizens, both former military personnel and ordinary civilians, will be called up for compulsory military service. All mobilized will sent to Ukraine”.
Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Digitalization Krzysztof Gawkowski said that an urgent investigation into this matter has been launched.
“The PAP information about partial mobilization is not true. We have begun an urgent investigation into the circumstances. Everything points to a cyber attack and planned disinformation! I will inform you of further results,” he said.
As wprost.pl writes, the head of the National Security Bureau, Jacek Sievera, said that only President Andrzej Duda can announce mobilization in Poland. He added that Russia miscalculated here due to ignorance of Polish laws.
Recall that Poland, unlike other states, from the beginning of the full-scale invasion in 2022 did not prohibit Ukraine from carrying out attacks on the territory of the Russian Federation.
