Artemy Panarin
Russian forward of the National Hockey League (NHL) club “New York Rangers” Artemy Panarin spoke about the disruption of the wedding with the daughter of coach Oleg Znarka Alisa in Italy. His words are quoted by “Sport-Express”.
Panarin explained that the celebration had to be canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic. “We do not have specific plans yet, because it is not clear what will happen in the world – whether there will be second or third waves, how long it will take,” the athlete emphasized.
The hockey player added that their wedding has already been half paid. “I think we will hold the wedding there, but later,” said Panarin. He added that his future wife is organizing the event.
On June 26, Panarin criticized the NHL on social media. In his opinion, the league infringes on the rights of players in the distribution of income.
Panarin is the highest paid Russian player in the NHL. Last July, he signed a seven-year contract with the Rangers for $ 81.5 million.
Alisa Znarok is a model. Her father is the former head coach of the Russian national ice hockey team, who now heads Moscow's Spartak. He led the national team to the gold of the 2018 Olympics.
