Russian forward of the National Hockey League (NHL) club New York Rangers Artemy Panarin revealed the size of the first salary he received in the second team of Vityaz. His words are quoted by Realnoe Vremya.
Panarin said that he earned nine thousand rubles. “It seemed that I had a hundred thousand! He sat down and put it on the shelves. It turns out that to have enough until the next payday, he could spend a maximum of 300 rubles a day, ”he recalled. The hockey player added that he did not spend much in those days, and at the end of the month he had five thousand left.
Panarin noted that after the World Youth Championship, his income increased. “I have an easy attitude to money: there is – cool, no – it's okay. When they started paying 100 thousand a month, I stopped thinking about money, ”he summed up.
Panarin is the highest paid Russian player in the NHL. Last July, he signed a seven-year contract with the Rangers for $ 81.5 million.
The forward has been studying at the Vityaz school since 2004. He played for the second team from 2009 to 2011.
