Palestine recalled its ambassador from Bahrain after the country decided to restore diplomatic relations with Israel. This was reported by TASS with reference to the Al Jazeera TV channel.
It is noted that Palestine harshly condemned Bahrain's decision and, like in the case of the UAE, almost immediately decided to recall its ambassador from Manama.
Earlier on September 11, US President Donald Trump said that he had become a broker for a new reconciliation in the Middle East. “Today is another historic breakthrough! Two of our wonderful friends, Israel and the Kingdom of Bahrain, have agreed to make peace – the second Arab country to make peace with Israel in 30 days, ”the president wrote on his Twitter account.
In a joint statement, the countries announced that the move would enable further progress towards peace across the region. According to Reuters experts, this process is associated with the strengthening of Iran, which is seen as a threat to most of its neighbors in the Middle East.
