On Monday, January 30, in the city of Peshawar in northwestern Pakistan, an explosion in a mosque killed at least 28 people and injured 150 more.

Many of the victims were policemen who had gathered for lunchtime prayers.
As a result of the explosion in the mosque, part of the building collapsed and several more people were probably under it.
So far, no one has taken responsibility responsible for the bombing.

Police say eyewitnesses say The suicide bomber sat in the front row during a joint prayer inside the mosque.
Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif condemned the explosion in a statement and ordered the authorities to provide better medical care to the victims. He promised “severe action” against those behind the attack.
Peshawar, the Afghan border capital of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, is frequently attacked.
Last March, a suicide bomber attacked a mosque in Peshawar, killing 64 people during a mass terrorist attack in Pakistan since 2018.
Recall, on Sunday, January 29, in the southwest of Pakistan, a passenger bus full of people fell from bridge and caught fire. According to preliminary information, 41 people died in the accident. On the same day, at least 10 children drowned after a tour boat capsized on the lake.
