In Melbourne, an unknown person created a mural with Ukrainian and Russian soldiers.
In the Australian city of Melbourne, a mural has appeared, which depicts hugging Russian and Ukrainian soldiers.
The photo of the image was published on Twitter by Olga Boychak, editor of Digital War magazine.
< p>“The new mural in Melbourne shows Russian and Ukrainian soldiers embracing, and this is very sad for all Ukrainians. Russia's war in Ukraine is not a conflict between two peoples – it's an invasion. The mural creates a sense of false equality between the victim and the aggressor”, the editor noted.
Olga Boychak emphasized that this approach is very dangerous, since it implies that Peace can be achieved if both sides draw up arms.
“There will be no peace in Ukraine until the occupied territories and population are liberated,” Boichuk wrote.
New mural in Melbourne shows Russian & Ukrainian soldier hugging & it's deeply offensive to all Ukraines. Russia's war in Ukraine is not conflict mezi 2 nations – it is invasion. mural creates safe equivalence btw victim & aggressor 1/5 pic.twitter.com/QsU7wvu6qr
