After Karl Schmidhofer's resignation as ÖSV president, the first steps will be taken next week in the search for his successor. As the APA found out, the Austrian Ski Association has convened a presidential conference in Salzburg on Wednesday, October 13th. In this committee it is decided how the timetable will look like until the new leadership of the association. On an interim basis, Vice President Roswitha Stadlober is currently in charge.
How long the former alpine racer should do this is one of the questions that should be clarified with all country leaders at the presidential conference. Stadlober could continue until the next country conference in June 2022, or new elections will be scheduled at relatively short notice. The 58-year-old could also run as a candidate for these.
