Head of the Office of the Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor OrbanGergely Gulyas blamed Ukraine for the high inflation in the country.
This was reported with reference to Gulyas, Reuters reports.
Hungary accused Ukraine of a fivefold increase in prices for supply of Russian oil via the Druzhba pipeline. Guillas said that due to the increase in oil transit fees in August, gasoline prices in the country increased, and the overall inflation rate increased by 0.5%.
“The main reason for inflation is that we have to pay five times more for fuel supplies. Ukraine's increase in transit fees is contrary to all norms,” he added cynically.
Recall that recently Guillas made a scandalous statement about guarantees for Russia and NATO without Ukraine.< /strong>According to him, Budapest believes that Ukraine will not de-occupy the occupied territories.
