In the Odessa region, border guards together with law enforcement officers detained a large group of violators who tried to illegally cross the state border of Ukraine.

It is noted that state border guards used a drone to track the movement of violators and stopped a truck on the outskirts of the village of Chernaya in the Podolsk district.

The KAMAZ truck was overcrowded with men.
In total, 48 men of draft age were being illegally transported to Moldova through the Transnistrian segment in the truck.
The cost of transportation was 150 thousand hryvnia per man. In case of successful transportation, the draft dodgers had to pay the specified amount to the organizer — administrator of one of the Telegram channels.
In order to get to the border, the truck driver picked up the men at certain stops.
However, the men never managed to illegally cross the border — All passengers were detained and the truck was confiscated.
Investigative actions are currently ongoing.
For attempting to illegally cross the border, administrative offence reports were drawn up against all men under Part 2 of Article 204-1 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Ukrainian Federation.
The cases have been sent to court. In addition, they have been brought to administrative responsibility under Article 202 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of Ukraine for violation of the border regime.
Commentary by the representative of the State Border Service Andrey Demchenko
According to the representative of the State Border Service, this is one of the largest one-time detentions of draft dodgers.
He noted that groups of more than 40 people had already been detained earlier.
Demchenko explained that now the organizers of such illegal schemes continue to try to gather a large group of violators, those citizens who plan to illegally cross the border and are willing to pay for it money.
The speaker confirmed that this group of draft dodgers was detained in the Odessa region, three kilometers from the state border with Moldova.
