Opening wins of Tampa and Colorado in the 2nd play-off round

Denver (Colorado) / Raleigh (North Carolina) – Tampa Bay Lightning and Colorado Avalanche successfully started the second play-off round (best of seven) of the North American ice hockey league NHL on Sunday. The defending champions from Florida won game one of the Central Division final at the Carolina Hurricanes 2-1. In the west, the Avalanche overtook the Vegas Golden Knights 7-1. (APA, May 31, 2021)
