In Australia, a father tragically died trying to save his two-year-old twin daughters after after their stroller rolled onto the railway track.

A man, later identified as 40-year-old Anand Runwala, jumped onto the railway tracks at Carlton station in Sydney. It is unknown how the stroller ended up in the path during the incident, which occurred at 12:25 Australian time on Sunday, July 21. Anand was hit by an oncoming train. He later died at the scene along with one of the twins, but the other child miraculously managed to survive. She was taken to the hospital for examination.
Witness Lauren Langelaar recalled the horrific incident in an interview with Australia's The Daily Mail, saying she ran to the platform after hearing her mother's desperate pleas for help.
“I ran out to help my mother because I heard her scream. Everything happened very quickly. I was down on the platform and helped the mother, who was trying to shout to her children and husband under the train,” she recalled.
