Russians vaccinated from the coronavirus can sing, dance and kiss with other vaccinated people for the New Year. This was stated by the former chief sanitary doctor of Russia Gennady Onishchenko, reports KP.RU.

“If you have been vaccinated and you have a high level of immune response, then in principle you can do almost without restrictions: walk, communicate, sing and even dance,” Onishchenko allowed.

He stressed that those vaccinated against COVID-19 still need to wear masks in public places and wash their hands. The former chief sanitary doctor advised unvaccinated Russians to observe the rules of isolation and meet with a narrow circle of loved ones. Better to arrange meetings remotely, he stressed.

According to Onishchenko, it is necessary to reach the herd immunity level of 80 percent as soon as possible. The former chief sanitary doctor complained that by the end of 2021, herd immunity had reached only 60 percent in Russia.

Earlier, Onishchenko gave the Russians advice on how to organize a New Year's feast. According to him, light food and snacks should be put on the festive table.
