In 2010, a Turkish girl hit the Guinness World Records
One of the smallest women on Earth, a Turkish citizen Elif Kocaman, died at the age of 33.

As it became known, the woman was hospitalized with pneumonia on Tuesday, December 28th. She was treated in the intensive care unit of the city of Kadirli (Turkey), but the patient's condition deteriorated more and more. In the end, Kojaman died of multiple organ failure.
Elif Kojaman entered the Guinness Book of World Records as the smallest woman on the planet in 2010, when her height was 72.6 centimeters.
In 2011 year she lost her title, because a new record was recorded – American Bridget Jordan was 3.6 centimeters lower than Kojaman.
Now the record holder among the smallest women on the planet is Jyoti Kisanji Amji from India, her height is only 62.8 centimeters.
Recall, in the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region of China, a 135-year-old woman, who was considered the oldest person in the world, died on December 16.
