Mudaris Tartykov, one of the suspects in extorting tribute from servicemen in the garrison of the city of Yurga, was detained in the Kemerovo region. This is reported by Ura.ru with reference to a law enforcement source.
“On Thursday, December 30, it became known that Mudaris Tartykov, who is suspected of extortion from the military in Yurga, was detained by the police. Drugs were found with him, and his tinted car without license plates was again confiscated, ”the source said, describing the incident with the collection of tribute from contract soldiers in Kuzbass.
Previously, he was placed in a pre-trial detention center, but then released.
On December 26, the head of the “Committee of Soldiers' Mothers” association, Svetlana Golub, reported that several residents of the city of Yurga in Kuzbass imposed a tribute on contract military servicemen of various ranks who served in the garrison. According to her, the local criminals threatened the military, blackmailed them, and sometimes used physical force.
As a result, the contractors were afraid to tell law enforcement officers about the actions of the intruders and paid tribute without complaint. According to Golub, up to 300-400 thousand rubles a month can be received from the military.
