Mark Episkopos, a columnist for the American edition of the National Interest, expressed his opinion about the modified Russian T-90S tank.
According to him, the combat vehicle has become one of the most successful export products in Russia. The T-90S is probably the most commercially successful tank of its time.
It is clarified that over the past decades, many of the characteristics of the tank have improved largely due to steady demand from foreign customers. However, in the Russian armed forces, the T-90 was also modernized. The T-90A version received a more powerful engine and better on-board electronics, and the T-90M also received the Relict dynamic protection, a more accurate weapon, the Kalina fire control system and the newest V-92S2F engine.
Overall, the T-90 can be called one of the best modern tanks.
