Previously an assistant to the leader of the PMC “Wagner” " "got caught" on surveillance of the family of the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Sergei Lavrov.
On Sunday, November 3, in the Russian Republic of Karelia, Wagnerite Andrei Tkachenko, one of Yevgeny Prigozhin's closest associates, was found dead. The deceased was known for carrying out the tasks of the leader of the Wagner PMC all over the world and even followed the family of the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry Sergei Lavrov for his assignment.
This was reported by the Telegram channel “VChK-OGPU”.
Tkachenko's body was discovered during an inspection of Lake Segozero, where he went fishing with his 8-year-old son and a friend.
It is known that on October 28, all three were on a boat 400 meters from the shore. What happened next is unknown, but only Tkachenko's son made it to shore, and his friend's body washed up a little later. The frightened child said nothing about the incident.
Earlier, Tkachenko was caught spying on the family of Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and, under threat of treason charges, testified against Yevgeny Prigozhin and his right-hand man Alexander Maloletko. Russian security forces decided not to touch the then leader of the Wagner PMC, but Maloletko was brought to justice. He promised to take revenge on Tkachenko.
From the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine until the summer of 2024, Tkachenko was at war on Ukrainian territory, and upon returning to Russia, he disappeared from sight, having survived both Prigozhin's coup and his death.
Recall that earlier it became known details of the plane crash in which former Wagner leader Yevgeny Prigozhin died in the summer of 2023.
