More than a week ago, a one and a half year old girl died in a fire in Lubny, Poltava region. The fire broke out while neither father nor mother was at home.
According to the rescuers who arrived on call, it was the mother who first sounded the alarm. They say she was looking for her daughter on the bed, but could not find it.
The firemen spent about 15 minutes putting out the flames in the house. The fire damaged the walls and some furniture, the roof of the house miraculously survived.
The rescuers found the little girl in a smoky room. She still managed to leave her room, but was not saved.
