The video service YouTube announced that it is testing a new feature that will allow people to comment on certain points on a video.
Thanks to this, any user watching the video will see other people's comments at the appropriate moment on the video. It is now possible to leave a comment with a time stamp, but the user will not see it until they deliberately go to read the comments section.
While the above function is experimental. Therefore, only a part of users will have access to it in the new version of the application. Timestamp comments can be enabled by clicking on the sort button in the comments section below the video. When the option is enabled, comments will appear as the time stamp of the progress bar in the video.
It's worth noting that this feature is not new to SoundCloud users.
