A video has appeared on the network in which the enthusiast shows the launch of games from the first PlayStation with improved graphics. To do this, he used an emulator of the legendary console, launched on the newest Xbox Series S.
We are talking about DuckStation – software that allows you to run projects with the PlayStation 1 with improved graphics on the new Microsoft game consoles. First of all, this is achieved by increasing the “native” resolution of games to 4K.
In the video itself, you can see how the legendary Silent Hill, Chrono Cross, Gran Turismo and Tekken 3 look with an increased frame rate, resolution and, in general, a “pumped” picture.
It is worth noting that the emulator can only be launched if the user has switched his Xbox Series S (and Series X) to developer mode.
