Cargoes that cannot be fully checked are transported accompanied by the Russian state inspection.
The Russians have significantly stepped up verification measures on the Crimean bridge. Passengers' belongings and car cargo are checked very carefully, “like at an airport.”
This was announced by Leonid Babashov, a “deputy” of the occupying State Duma from Crimea, in a commentary to Daily Storm.
“All cars and Passengers on the Krymsky Bridge are inspected as if at an airport. Passengers with things get out of vehicles and pass through the frames,” he said.
Babashov noted that goods that cannot be completely checked are transported accompanied by the state traffic inspectorate. We are talking, in particular, about fuel, bitumen, polyethylene rolls.
“Their movement towards new territories takes place in three or four columns a day,” the occupant noted.
According to Babashov, the inspection of cars takes place in several stages. Particular attention is paid to checking cars with foreign numbers. Babashov says that inspections of cars are carried out “taking into account the experience of such work at airports.”
