On March 22, Ukraine will focus on the evacuation of Mariupol residents. This was announced at a briefing by the Minister for the Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories, Irina Vereshchuk.
According to her, to evacuate people from Mariupol to Zaporozhye today there will be three routes:
- Berdyansk – Zaporozhye
Place of meeting: sports complex on the street. Melitopol highway, 27
- Mangush community – Zaporozhye
Place of meeting: Yuryevka village of Melekinsky village council, boarding house Smena
- Nikolskoye – Zaporozhye
Place of meeting: School No. 2, st. Parkovaya, 23
Buses will be served at collection points from 9.00 to 10.00.
Irina Vereshchuk added: the Ukrainian side understands that there will not be enough seats for everyone, so they ask to get on the buses in an organized manner in accordance with the instructions of our representatives on the spot.
She assured that Ukraine will definitely not leave anyone and will continue to evacuate daily according to the same algorithm, until all Mariupol residents are taken out.
Now 21 buses and trucks with humanitarian aid have already left Zaporozhye on the route to Mariupol. The issue of delivering additional fuel to Berdyansk is also being resolved in order to continue refueling the cars of Mariupol residents for free.
