Olympic champion Elena Ilinykh has ceased to be the permanent trainer of the Evgeni Plushenko Academy. This is reported by Telesport, citing sources familiar with the situation.

The former figure skater gave up permanent work at the academy on her own initiative. The reason was employment in other projects. It is clarified that there were no conflicts between Plushenko and the Ilyins. The ex-athlete plans to periodically help the students of “Angels Plushenko” in working out the programs.
