Olympic champion from Russia reacted to the words of an IBU board member about a bribe

Four-time Olympic champion, former head of the Russian Biathlon Union (RBU), Alexander Tikhonov, reacted to the words of a member of the Board of the International Biathlon Union (IBU) Tore Beigard about a bribe. His words are quoted by “R-Sport”.

Tikhonov said that he made Beygard, who at that time was the head of the Norwegian Biathlon Federation, a gift in the form of a purse with a 500 euro note inside and a bottle of vodka. “He returned the 500 euros to me, I gladly took them back,” he said.
