Olympic champion in figure skating Alexey Urmanov appreciated the physical form of Alexandra Trusova, who moved from Eteri Tutberidze's group to Evgeni Plushenko's academy. His words are quoted by “Championship.com”.

The athlete, commenting on the results of the test skates of the Russian national team, noted that the skater is in good shape. He also added that after the change of coach Trusova saw positive changes. “A little more life has appeared in her,” said Urmanov.

At the test skates, which took place on September 13, Trusova in an arbitrary program cleanly performed a cascade of a quadruple toe loop – triple toe loop, but fell from a quadruple lutz, and also touched the ice with her hand when landing on a quadruple toe loop. Evgenia Medvedeva, Elizaveta Tuktamysheva, Anna Shcherbakova and other candidates for the Russian national team also took part in the screenings.

Trusova moved from Tutberidze's group to Plushenko Academy on May 6. According to some experts, the two-time Olympic champion lured the athlete with more favorable conditions. Plushenko denied these accusations. The athlete is a two-time world champion among juniors and a bronze medalist of the adult European championship.
