Okko Sports and WSC Sports have announced the start of a collaboration on automatic highlight creation. This was reported in a press release from the company.
Okko Sports will use WSC Sports' patented technology to automatically create short videos of key moments of matches in real time. The technology will be introduced to the Russian market for the first time. The partnership will also develop solutions that open up new content opportunities for OTT services.
Itai Epstein, head of business development at WSC Sports in Central and Eastern Europe and Russia, said the partnership will allow fans to immediately receive key sports content. “Our technology will deliver highlights and other videos faster than ever,” he said.
“We created Okko Sport so that football lovers could watch the matches of their favorite teams with comfort and pleasure. Our high-tech service opened up new opportunities for the market – we offered users multiple audio tracks, viewing from multiple devices, and 4K resolution. Now we are taking a new step together with WSC Sports, ”added Mikhail Gershkovich, head of sports projects at Rambler Group and Okko Sport.
