The transfer of the ÖFB star to Bologna FC should be as good as fixed. The change should be official on Monday.
The farewell to ÖFB star Marko Arnautovic from China is almost fixed. As the Italian media unanimously report, the 32-year-old is returning to Europe and joining FC Bologna as expected. According to this, Arnautovic should complete the medical check with the Italians this Monday and then sign a three-year contract.
The transfer was preceded by tough negotiations between Shanghai Port and Serie A. Arnautovic actually still has a contract with the Chinese until 2022. However, the Italians had done “everything imaginable” to sign the Austrian, like Bologna coach Sinisa Mihajlovic said late last week.
“Arnautovic is a player in the service of the team, is physically and physically strong. Alone he puts the entire defense under pressure. In addition to Arnautovic, we also need a central defender and a midfielder,” said the Serbian coach, who will start his fourth season at FC Bologna.
