The ÖFB team player missed the German Bundesliga club because of the intervention in the Charite during training. On Saturday in the home game against VfB Stuttgart, the right-back should still run in again. On Monday, he had a face mask made for protection.
Trimmel suffered the injury in the league game at Bayern Munich (1: 1) in the first half in a duel with Kingsley Coman. Still, he played until the end. The veteran, who broke his nose for the fourth time, has experience as a mask man. In November and December 2014 he also played for Union with a carbon cover.
