ÖFB team: Daniel Bachmann Austria's number one at the EURO

The goalie question in the ÖFB team has been resolved: Watford legionnaire Daniel Bachmann will stand between the posts of the Austrian national team at the European Championship.

Bachmann, who showed an extremely strong season performance at Watford and was promoted to the Premier League, was already in the Austrian goal against England and celebrated his debut.

“We decided on Daniel Bachmann as number one. He did his job very, very well in England and will play today. He will then also start next week in the game against North Macedonia”, team boss Franco Foda confirmed his decision on ORF.

The ÖFB team also includes LASK keeper Alexander Schlager and VfL Wolfsburg's Pavao Pervan.
