Karim Onisiwo led FSV Mainz to a 4-1 home win over FC Augsburg in the German Bundesliga. The ÖFB team player brought the hosts in the tenth minute after a mistake by Robert Gumny with a remarkable finish and scored his first goal of the season. Onisiwo prepared the 2-0 with a cross against Stefan Bell, and Jonathan Burkardt also made it 4-1.
Onisiwo was replaced in the 82nd minute, his club colleague Kevin Stöger came on the field in the 76th minute. David Nemeth was a substitute for Mainz as was Michael Gregoritsch for Augsburg, who are in 16th place in the table. The FSV moved up to sixth place, at least temporarily.
