Philipp Zulechner will no longer appear in the Aue dress.

Philipp Zulechner is looking for a club. The former Austria and Sturm attacker has terminated his contract in Germany.

ÖFB legionnaire Philipp Zulechner and his club Erzgebirge Aue go their separate ways. The 31-year-old's contract was terminated on Monday just before the end of the summer transfer window.

Aue had no use for Zulechner. The striker now has to look for a new employer.

In 2013, the Viennese completed a short assignment in the national team under ex-team boss Marcel Koller. In the 1-0 test victory against the USA, Zulechner stood for five minutes in the Ernst Happel Stadium.

Zulechner played for Erzgebirge Aue since 2019. His previous positions: Sturm Graz, Young Boys Bern, FC Freiburg, Austria Wien, Grödig, Horn. The former FAC youth player was trained in the academies of Austria, Admira and Red Bull Salzburg.

Now he could be interesting for some Bundesliga club who are looking for a goal scorer for free.
