Occupants disrupted only one from nine planned gum corridors – Vereshchuk

On March 17, eight out of nine planned humanitarian corridors were launched in Ukraine. This was officially announced by Deputy Prime Minister Irina Vereshchuk.

Because of the shelling of Putin's occupiers, the corridor along the agreed Kharkiv-Volchansk route was disrupted.

– We continue to work on the coordination of routes to deliver humanitarian aid to all the encircled and blocked cities,” Iryna Vereshchuk assured.

The evacuation situation in Mariupol,, according to the Deputy Prime Minister, is starting to improve.

– Almost 800 private cars left the city of Mariupol. Also, people leave the city on foot, the flow does not stop,” she clarified.

Temporary help centers for evacuees from Mariupol have been organized in the city of Berdyansk. On March 18, another such point will open in the city of Mangush, and 10 buses will be sent from Zaporozhye, which will transport Mariupol residents to Berdyansk.

Regarding the situation in the Kiev region, on March 17, more than 36 tons of humanitarian aid: we are talking about food and medicine.

Help was received by residents of Gostomel, Bucha, the villages of Samopolki, Markovtsy and Opanasov.

– From the city of Borodyanka to Zhytomyr 20 buses with local residents left today (about 160 people). Route Shevchenkove (and surrounding villages) – Brovary: 41 buses and 200 private cars left. This is about 1,500 more people.

In total, since the beginning of the day on March 17, 3,810 people have been evacuated in Ukraine thanks to humanitarian corridors.
