Ali Abdel-Aziz, the manager of a Russian mixed style (MMA) fighter, Khabib Nurmagomedov, has contracted the coronavirus. He announced this on his Instagram page.
“Friends and colleagues, this week I was diagnosed with COVID-19 and I am being treated in the hospital,” Abdel-Aziz wrote. He urged everyone who came in contact with him to take the necessary precautions.
Earlier it was reported that Khabib Nurmagomedov made weight for a confrontation with American Justin Gage. The fighters will face off in the Octagon in the main event of UFC 254 in Abu Dhabi on October 24. Russian mixed style fighter (MMA) Alexander Shlemenko considered that Nurmagomedov would win by unanimous decision after five rounds.
