The European Union has begun discussions on the next, seventh round of sanctions against Russia, but restrictions on Russian gas will most likely not be included.

< p>The head of the government of the Czech Republic, whose country is currently chairing the EU Council, Petr Fiala noted that the European Commission should be ready to present a sanctions package in the coming days.

“The seventh package (sanctions – ed.) is being prepared, and I think this is good news.
