Polish far-right protested against support for Ukraine in the war with Russian occupiers.

In Poland, the pro-Russian far-right political force “Confederation” held an anti-Ukrainian rally in front of the Sejm on Thursday, July 25. The country's official authorities have already responded to this.

The Polish publication onet.pl writes about this.

According to media reports, the anti-Ukrainian action was organized by the Polish 81-year-old former MP Janusz Korwin-Mikke. He and his associates came to the premises of the Polish Sejm with posters: “Tusk to court for treason against Poland!”, “Stop dragging Poland into a war that is not ours!”.

The former MP accused Prime Minister Tusk of being replaced by work in the European Union, and called him a “traitor”.

Radoslaw Sikorski came out to the crowd. The head of the Foreign Ministry tried to respond to the theses that were voiced at the rally, but he was not given the floor.

“Don't be afraid of me,” he said to one of the protesters.

“On my way to the Foreign Ministry, I came across a Confederation picket in front of the Sejm against the G-7 agreement on aid to struggling Ukraine, which was signed by Prime Minister Donald Tusk on July 11. Unfortunately, they did not want to hear the government's arguments, but I confirm my readiness for debate,” the head of the Polish Foreign Ministry wrote on social networks.

Polish media also publish a video from what they call an “anti-Ukrainian picket”.

Recall that Poland stunned with the announcement of Ukraine's accession to the European Union.
