Not only Ukraine: military expert on how far Putin is ready to go

The Russian Federation does not intend to give up its goals.

Russian dictator Vladimir Putin and his henchmen do not hide their plans for the return of control over Eastern European countries, including Berlin.

A military expert, a representative of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine 2014-2017, said this. Vladislav Seleznev noted that the Ukrainian army protects not only the security of Ukraine on the air of the TV channel “Espresso”.

On notes that it is not for nothing that our German partners have significantly intensified their efforts to strengthen the military component.

“Everyone understands that if the enemy does not receive a significant slap in the face in Ukraine, then he will work on in order to take control of the Baltic countries, Moldova, and then move to the West – to Poland, Germany,” Seleznev noted.

He also talks about the fact that the ratio forces and means are definitely not in our favor.

“The fact that we do not have enough shells is clear from our statistics. For one Ukrainian shell fired on the battlefield, there are 5 -7 hostile. Therefore, the balance of forces and means is definitely not in our favor. This happened because between August and October we received less military-technical assistance by 90% compared to the same period last year. Volumes of military support from our partners are decreasing,” says the expert.

In particular, partners are slow to provide military assistance for a number of reasons. However, they are not sufficient to stop the supply of weapons and military equipment for the needs of Ukrainian soldiers.

“Because the Ukrainian army now protects not only the security of Ukraine. Our soldiers protect the safe space, at least in the eastern part of Europe,” Seleznev emphasized.

We previously wrote that Germany will continue to provide military support to Ukraine in 2024. Moreover, previously planned support for Ukraine can be provided from the federal budget without a decision to exceed it.
