60~strong>The DPRK could send military pilots to Russia.

The DPRK, in addition to ground troops, sent pilots to help the Kremlin fly Russian aircraft in the war against Ukraine.

The American publication Newsweek writes about this, citing own sources.

This may be related to training on Russian combat aircraft supplied to North Korea. However, it cannot be ruled out that Russia, which has been suffering from a shortage of pilots during the war with Ukraine, has turned to Pyongyang for help, the publication notes.

If this turns out to be true, Russia will be the first overseas deployment of North Korean combat pilots since the Vietnam War.

Earlier, South Korean intelligence reported that North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un sent 12,000 troops to the war in Ukraine, including a special forces unit.

Later, the South Korean Foreign Ministry summoned the Russian ambassador over the DPRK military in the war against Ukraine.

According to Newsweek, South Korea may send troops to Ukraine amid cooperation between the DPRK and RF.
