The mayor of Chernigov, Vladislav Atrashenko, said this on the evening of March 19 on the air of the Ukrainian telethon .

He stressed that the war crimes committed daily by the Russian military in Chernigov are comparable only to the bombing Nazis in 1943.

– In Chernihiv, non-aimed artillery attacks on residential areas do not stop, during which dozens of civilians die. The city is suffering from an absolute humanitarian catastrophe. There is no power supply, heat and water, the infrastructure of the city is completely destroyed, — noted Vladislav Atrashenko.

The Mayor of Chernigov once again called on the Ukrainian authorities to pay attention to the catastrophic situation in Chernigov.
