South Korea announced the launch of two ballistic missiles by the DPRK towards the Sea of Japan

North Korea allegedly fired two short-range ballistic missiles eastward simultaneously from the Sunan Airport near Pyongyang. This is reported by TASS with reference to the South Korean Joint Chiefs of Staff of South Korea.
Earlier it became known about the launch of an unknown projectile towards the Sea of Japan. It is reported that this is the fourth launch of North Korean missiles in 2022. The previous ones took place on January 5, 11 and 14. In the first two cases, Pyongyang announced successful tests of supersonic missiles. On January 14, two short-range ballistic missiles were launched from a railway missile system.
