Yonhap: North Korea fired an unidentified projectile towards the east

North Korea launched an unidentified projectile in an easterly direction. This is reported by the Yonhap agency, citing the South Korean military.
Details of what happened are not given.
This is the eighth incident since the beginning of 2022. North Korea fired seven missiles in January. On January 5 and 11, North Korea tested hypersonic missiles. A ballistic missile was also launched, the speed of which was 16 times the speed of sound. In addition, Pyongyang promised to “continue to develop powerful warheads.”
