Ballistic missile tests in North Korea October 19, 2021
North Korea has confirmed it has tested a new ballistic missile that the military launched from a submarine. The day before, its launch was announced in neighboring South Korea. The missile tests directly violate international resolutions prohibiting Pyongyang from testing nuclear weapons and ballistic missiles. The UN Security Council will hold an emergency meeting.
