Nocturne on glass. A resident of St. Petersburg created an unusual musical instrument from ordinary bottles and bamboo sticks, reports “MIR 24”.
The musician called his creation “bottlephone”. He performs classical and contemporary music on it. The principle of playing the instrument is the same as on the piano: the top row is black keys, the bottom row is white. The invention is already an international success: the musician has performed at festivals in Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Finland, France and Norway.
“The main thing is that the bottle is strictly cylindrical, and the thinner the glass, the better. The sound is louder than the thinner the glass. But here, as it were, to a certain extent, they are subtle, but further it is no longer possible, ”said musician Fyodor Grigoriev.
