Nobel laureates in medicine named in Sweden
The names of the 2021 Nobel Prize winners in physiology and medicine have been announced. They are David Julius and Ardem Pataputyan, both from the United States, according to the official website of the Nobel Committee.
The prize was awarded for research on temperature and touch receptors. During the Nobel week, laureates in physics (October 5), chemistry (October 6), literature (October 7) will also be announced. On October 8, the Nobel Peace Prize laureate will be announced. The Nobel Prize in Economics is also awarded.
