The Uru-Striker has always been a wild card for United, but the 34-year-old has not really prevailed. It is very possible that Cavani will have to give his jersey number 7 to Ronaldo.
But the veteran is not planning to leave. The massive short appearances were too important for the Red Devils. Cavani himself is looking forward to Ronaldo, does not want to flee because of him.
United also really wants to keep the striker, maybe we even see an oldie double storm Ronaldo / Cavani every now and then – that would certainly give some defensive rows a lot of headache.
